Kale chips are a great, healthy snack! You can add a yummy flavor using Lemon Essential Oil.
- 1 bunch Kale, washed, dried, and torn into small pieces
- 2 T. Aquafaba
- 5 drops Lemon Essential Oil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Nutritional Yeast Flakes (optional)
Combine the aquafaba and lemon oil in a bowl and toss with the kale. I like to put them in a spray bottle and spritz the kale in the bowl, massaging the leaves to coat completely (uses less oil). Spread parchment paper on a baking sheet and distribute the kale. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Bake in a 200 degree oven for 45 minutes to an hour or until crispy and slightly browned. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with a nutritional yeast flakes if desired. Let cool completely before eating. Snack away!
