Basil! By just hearing the word, I can almost taste a beautiful basil pesto or a yummy pad thai with fresh basil on top. Not only is Basil Essential Oil great in recipes, it is an effective support for physical and emotional wellness. 

Usage Ideas

  • After a day of physical activity, apply a few drops of Basil Essential Oil in carrier oil and massage into your skin for a soothing and cooling sensation.
  • Make something yummy! Substitute dried basil for a drop of Basil in your next recipe. Remember a LITTLE goes a long way (it's super concentrated) so start with one drop.
  • Try Basil in your diffuser. Check out some of the blend recipes below. Basil can help promote mental alertness and lesson anxious feelings.
  • Try a drop behind the ear to support healthy ears.
  • Add a drop of your garden water and spray your plants.
  • Try a drop over your abdomen for soothing massage for monthly menstrual discomfort.
