Bugs Bugging You?

Memorial Day weekend is officially here and it traditionally marks the beginning of summer. That means long days and lots of outside time. It can also mean mosquitos and other insects wreaking havoc on your good time. Essential Oils can play a role in keeping little creatures at bay so you can enjoy your outdoor time.

If you are a DIYer, you can easily mix up your own repellant using any of the Essential Oils that naturally repel insects such as Arborvitae, Cedarwood, Cinnamon Bark, Clove, Geranium, Lemongrass, Spearmint, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Thyme.  Make sure to dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil and use a tinted glass spray bottle to apply. We have a large selection of spray bottles in our DIY Shop.

If you prefer a ready made product, try doTERRA's TerraShield Outdoor Blend. It's a safe and effective natural barrier to outdoor annoyances and is available in a 15ml bottle or a 30ml spray bottle.
